Visiting the Alligators!

We went to the boardwalk in Daphne where you can see tons of alligators. The boys love looking at the gators...this particular day there were a few alligators out of the water and on the bank...they were a little too close for comfort! Here are some pictures...and my camera was NOT on zoom if that gives you an idea how close they were to us.

Toddler Bed!

On Sawyer's birthday, we converted his crib into a toddler bed! He LOVES being able to get in and out of his bed by himself...he plays in the bed all the time! And he has had no problems with the switch. He goes right to sleep and stays in his bed!

Happy Birthday Sawyer!!!

I can't believe my baby is two years old! Time has flown by! He is such a joy...and so completely different than Hayden. Hayden is my quiet reserved one...Sawyer is going to be the life of the party! Here are some pics from his birthday! That morning we went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Then MeMe took us out to lunch at Burger King (one of the boys' favorites). After lunch, we went to Barnes and Noble so the boys could play with the trains. Sawyer found Tasha from the Backyardigans and would NOT let her go...he now sleeps with Tasha every night! On Sunday, all the grandparents came over for a mini celebration. He had a blast!

Here are a few pictures from Barnes and Noble...the boys love to go there and play with the trains and dance on the stage! We also got the boys new shoes for school and they had to ride the car outside of the shoe store lol!

First Day of School!

Hayden is now in Pre-K! I can't believe he is getting so big! And Sawyer is in the 2 year old class...he has to walk in a line and has circle time and everything! They are both growing way too fast! I am LOVING teaching the 3 year olds...they are so much fun! Here are pictures from the first day of school!

Last Pool Day!

Since school starts next week, we had our last pool day of the summer! :-( Summer has flown by! The boys have LOVED going to the pool twice a week this summer! Thanks so much Jen for letting us come all summer long!

Boys' First Visit to Chuck E Cheese's!

We went on a road trip to Pensacola with friends to Chuck E Cheese's! The boys had a blast! Hayden's favorite ride was the Bob the Builder ride...he rode it about 10 times! And Sawyer's favorite ride was the Barney ride and he LOVED his pizza lol!

Getting Ready for School!

I can't believe the summer is almost over! School starts next week! Hayden is going to be in preschool! And Sawyer will be in the two year old class...they are both growing up way too fast!

I am teaching 3 year olds this year and have been working hard getting my classroom ready! The boys have been great sports and played wonderfully in my classroom while I worked! And they now have a new fascination with the princess dress up clothes lol! One of the other staff kids helped Sawyer put this skirt on and he pranced around saying, "Princess!" Hayden joined in on the fun with a pink scarf and high heeled shoes! I couldn't resist a picture for Daddy to see! And I can definitely see these pictures being shown when they are seniors in high school...ha!!!

Hayden's Birthday Celebration with his Friends!

Hayden celebrated his birthday with his friends by going to the movies and eating lunch and playing at Chick Fil A! This was Hayden's first movie! He loved it! We watched Shrek 3...we went on the day the Rave was showing a free movie. I think Hayden's favorite part was the popcorn lol!

Mommy's Night Out!

After having a sick child (Sawyer), I needed a night with just my girls! (Little did I know that the rest of us were going to get sick starting the next day!) Holly, Jamie, Jennifer and I all went to eat sushi! It was my first time trying it and I loved it! I have always been too scared to eat it...thanks girls for making me try it! After dinner, we traveled to Mobile to a Dream Dinners preview party. We got to take home one meal...yummy Sweet Cider BBQ Chicken!

My first bite of the Daphne Roll...yummy! And I can't use chopsticks...so I used my fingers instead lol!

Birthday Boy and his Special Dinner!

On Hayden's actual birthday we went to Brayden's house to play. We also ate lunch with Daddy...at Burger King. Hayden wanted "king chicken" lol! He calls it this because the kid's chicken nuggets are shaped like crowns! He and Sawyer got a crown to wear on their head and Hayden did not take that crown off all day long! I went to check on him before I went to bed and he was sleeping with it on lol! Crazy kid! He had a great day!

Sick Babies!

The stomach bug went around our household something fierce! First Sawyer got it...I have never seen him so sick poor baby! Then I got a mild case of it. Then Hayden got it BAD! Then Daddy got it! Whew! It was a rough week! Hopefully we will stay well for a while!

VBS 2009...The Boomerang Express!!!

Our VBS theme this year was set in Australia! And one of the main decorations was a train so Hayden was sooo excited! He had so much fun in his class and Sawyer did too! Holly and I taught 5 years olds and they were a blessing! We had all girls and they were so much fun! I was unable to get pictures of Sawyer because it would upset him too much if I went into his room to take a picture and leave lol! Hayden was a different story! He is used to seeing me while in class! Here are a few pictures taken throughout the VBS week!

Summer Playdates!

We had a ton of playdates this summer! Here the boys were playing at Micah and Luca's house! Brayden and Colton came to play too! They had a ton of fun!

Mommy and Daddy's Night Out!

We finally found a time when we could get away for the night! I won tickets to the Eli Young Band concert at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi. So Andy got off work at the restaurant that night and Grandma and Papa came to babysit and we took off that afternoon to spend some much needed time together! We had soooo much fun! It was great to get away! And the concert was awesome! Those guys rocked!
